CoolKat Founder Roland Kahn Acquires Digital Artworks and Custom Portraits

In 2011, artist Dinorah Delfin met CoolKat founder Roland Kahn at a gallery exhibition in Manhattan, NY. They became fiends, and shortly after, Kahn purchased two digital artworks from Delfin’s Holy series and commissioned a custom one.

Years later, in 2028, Kahn expanded his collection by acquiring one of Delfin’s iconic 3D pixel-style self-portraits and commissioning a hybrid self-portrait for the CoolKat headquarters in Amsterdam. Kahn, who lives across from Vermeer’s historic home with breathtaking views, is a passionate art collector whose collection features both blue-chip and emerging contemporary artists from around the globe.

“Roland is a fascinating soul whom I’ve had the honor to know for over a decade . . . Creating a custom digital collage of him was an especially fun project. His deep knowledge of art, exquisite taste in fashion and design, and intoxicating youthful spirit are not only the ingredients for building a successful enterprise but also for cultivating long-lasting friendships.” - Delfin
